Why I started this blog?
I started this blog to share my story, my experiences, and the lessons I learn on my journey of becoming fully financially independent. The avenue I have chosen to reach my financial goal of independance is the Internet, creating an online income on complete auto pilot.
I hope that this blog encourages all, and empowers other 'full time' fathers and mothers who either own their own home based business already, and others who are on the same journey as I am.
What is a "Full Time Father"?
When I use the term 'full time father', or "stay at home dad" that may mean something very different for the majority of you all who are 'full time fathers'. For most of you reading this post, a full time father will mean, that you place your children in school and when they are picked up from school, you are the number one carer. For me, the term "stay at home dad" means a exactly that. What is the reason that I am a full time stay at home father? Well, when I got married to my beautiful wife Janine, finding a job at the time the UK experienced the economic crash made it very difficult. At the time my wife was pregnant and the plan was that I would find full time work so she could leave her job and look after the coming baby. After sending out over hundred CV's in so many areas, I just wasn't getting any interviews, no returned phone calls, constant emails stating I wasn't a good candidate etc etc, it became very discouraging at one point. But I thank God that my wife had a good job to return to, so financially we were okay, even though I didn't find work. Therefore I became the a full time parent for our new born baby.
Home Education (Home Schooling)
We both decided to home educate our children, so because of my commitment to be teacher in their Home Education Program, time is of the essence and I haven't those eight or so hours other stay at home parents have to build their businesses, hence the major reason for starting this blog to really target those who are in the EXACT same position as us. I hope and pray I inspire others to follow suit and NOT GIVE UP building their home based business.

There are principles and practical strategies that are indispensable to building a successful income online while being a stay at home parent. The internet is full of excellent blogs, videos where you can gain real life stories, testimonies, and learn from successful entrepreneurs for FREE, but these are not specific for the thousands of stay at home dads (parents). TIME is minimal for myself and so the question that I'm constantly plagued with is "How do I actually balance my home education and start an online business?" I'm sure I'm not the only one who is in this situation and is finding it very challenging. Sharing my experience from now and not later is quite unique, usually you'll find those blogs that share life stories AFTER success has been gained, I've chosen to share my journey from the beginning until I cross the "finish line".

MY GOAL
The goal is to retire my wife by replacing her income from her good job, by replacing it with a "residual income".
Who is this blog for? Primarily for those stay at home dads and who desire to start a home based business. If all stay at home mums are inspired, or can learn something they can take away with them and apply on their journey to being financially independent that will make me even more happy, but inspiring and helping stay at home fathers is my target and focus, so all articles will be geared towards that audience, so please understand from here on forward the specific language of my content. :)
The challenges for single parent families and stay at home parents are numerous, and and although I'm not a single parent, I can relate with many of the challenges that come with single parent families, as the majority of my day is spent with my three 'live wires' (nickname for my three children lol). If your not in this situation, you can only guess how difficult it is to raise children full time, plus start or run a home based business, but I know its only by perseverance will I cross the finish line.
